Hi Everyone
I am trying to execute R script in power BI, but running in to the error regarding socket connection. The same script executes without any error on PBI desktop. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank You!
Thank You @lbendlin @Anonymous for your comments. I will look at the gateway settings and R libraries path. Will update as I find the solution.
Hi @shirishrao
@lbendlin Thank you very much for your prompt reply. Allow me to add something here.
In addition to being properly configured to run Personal gateway, you can also check the following:
Verify that the R package path is set correctly in Power BI. In Power BI, go to Transform Data > Run R Script and check the paths.
Ensure that the R script is compatible with the Power BI Service environment.
Check if there are any firewall or network settings that might be blocking the socket connection.
Regards,
Nono Chen
