Question About Pipelines and Multiple UAT Workspaces

Hello Community,

Is it possible in a pipeline to connect more than one UAT workspace to a single Production workspace? My goal is to allow multiple people to have their own UAT workspaces, while I maintain control over what happens in Production, which I want to keep as a single workspace/app.

Any guidance or best practices would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

No — in native Power BI / Fabric Deployment Pipelines, you cannot connect multiple UAT (Test) workspaces to a single Production workspace within the same pipeline.

You can use Git integration (recommended for Fabric / large teams)

If you’re using Microsoft Fabric or Power BI Premium:

  • Enable Git integration (Azure DevOps or GitHub) for workspaces.

  • Each developer/UAT workspace can connect to its own branch (branch out to new workspace).

  • You can merge branches into a shared main / release branch that syncs with the Production workspace.

Hope it can help you!

Antoine
