Hello
We want to start using query caching as per this article:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/power-bi-query-caching
However when we look for the option on the dataset settings the options is not there, although two of our developers swear they saw it previously. We are Premium customers and are looking at datasets in Premium capacity.
Has anyone had a similar experience or are we missing something? Does the the gateway you use matter? The datasources we care about are ODBC.
Thanks
Steven
Hi @stevenc ,
By my tests, I cannot find this option either in Power BI Service.
I have had a consult with the PG and will update here if I get any information.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
Best Regards,
Cherry
Thanks, keen to get an answer as we'd like to use caching to speed up some dashboards we're working on
Hi @stevenc ,
Update:
There was an issue with RLS a couple of weeks ago and query caching was temporarily disabled. That fix is in and we expect query caching to be re-enabled by the end of this week.
Best Regards,
Cherry
Thanks, I can see it's back now
