Hi there,
I tried to create a ticket, but Microsoft won't let me (even though I am using Power BI Pro), anyways...
I created a report in Power BI desktop, I then published it to my workspace in Power BI Service (app.powerbi.com).
I published it to the web (red circle) and also did embedded it (green circle).
Once my scheduled refresh is done, the version which is live through Embed (green circle) shows all the updated data, while the version which is live through publish to web (red circle) only updates the filter, but all the other visuals are not updated, unless I interact with the data.
Since I want to publish this report to our website, blog and/or social media, I cannot use the green circle version, because therefore viewers need a Power BI account. So I really need to the rec circle version to work as the green circle, but it won't.
Any idea why there are differences and how this issue can be resolved? Thanks in advance!
Furthermore, if someone knows why I can't create a ticket, that help is also welcome 🙂

Hi @Gjakova ,
If share the report with the users by Publish to Web, Power BI caches the report definition and the results of the queries required to view the report when the user view the related report. And the cache is long-lived, so if the report data be refreshed, it can take approximately one hour before changes are reflected in the version of the report that your users view. You can find these details in this documentation.
In addition, you can follow the steps in the below animation to create a supported ticket if you have a pro license. If you get any error message when create the support ticket, please share the related screen shot. Thank you.
Best Regards
Rena

Thank you @Anonymous
Patience is key, so it seems. After 1 - 2 hours the report visuals were up-to-date.
I got confused because some parts of my report were updated within a minute, while others in this case took 1 - 2 hours to refresh. Furthermore the difference between embed and publish to web was confusing to me, but is all clear now. Thank you!
