Publish to web: how to check if content is compatible

I'm running some tests on a report we hope to make live and possible embed in a blog eventaully.

When I publish an internal link, the report renders correctly, but when I publish externally, I get the "This content isn't available" error described on this conversation chain:

Can anyone help me troubleshoot what I may be doing wrong? Two possible issues come to mind, but I'm not sure how to check them:

• The report contains several advanced visuals including violin plots that I created using Daniel Marsh-Patrick's Violin Plot (v. 1.3.0). Maybe this visual runs an R script that isn't supported for published content? Although the visuals render fine when the report is published internally.
  
  
• Since I'm working as a consultant, I created my pro account by setting up an Active Directory in Azure (through my school email), then created a couple users using this domain and gave one of them administrator permissions for PowerBI. Then I used this user to enable publishing under tenant settings, following the steps laid out by Microsoft here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-admin-portal#publish-to-web
  
  Maybe I need to give this user additional permissions? 

The link shows up as active under Embed Codes and it doesn't look like the server hosting the content is having any issues. Anything else I should check?

Yes, R script isn't supported for published content, 

by the way, please check if there are some other limitations in this report too.

Hey @dj866 - I just happened across this post and while I might not be able to solve the overarching issue for you, I just wanted to rule out/confirm that the Violin Plot isn't written using R and is certified, so has the same permissions as core visuals when it comes to embedding in other content. In fact, this data story uses it with publish to web, so it might not be the contributing factor here. Happy to have a look though if you want to (and can) send the report though 🙂

It could possibly be with the Custom Visual that is using R as per the link below.

What happens if you remove those custom visuals and see if you can then see the report via Publish to Web?
