Problem with adding content to an existing PowerBI App

Hello,

I am having trouble with adding additional content to a published PowerBI app.

My app is attached to my premium workspace and all the reports show as included in the app:

When I go into the app it doesnt show the report I added (JDE & Ariane Gap PBI Test) in the contents:

Everytime I have to add content I have to unpublish the app and add all content at the same time, which is a pain because any app links I have sent to others no longer work. If anyone could help me understand what needs to be done to include new content to an already published app would be greatly appreciated. (And yes, I waited more than 4 days and the content doesnt show up on the app)

Thank you

The new App experience requires 2 things:

  1. Add the content to the app itself.
  2. Unhide the content for each audience you want to see it. With multiple audiences now, the default is new content is hidden to not expose it inadvertently to the wrong audience. You can do this on the Audience tab, and there should be a little eyeball next to any hidden reports.

Glad I was able to help! I marked my answer as the solution so when someone visits this thread they can see the fix. The new Audiences feature is nice, but a bit more to set up when adding new content.
