How to prevent a distribution list being created when a new work space is created?

@Anonymous, I'm afraid the answer is no. The group id is automatically created after the group is created, the group id will be the group email address. What's your concern about not creating the group id?

We are facing oragnaisational issues where the Power BI group email id being mistaken for something else. The only work around now is to redirect the emails we are receiving at the Power BI group to the appropriate people.
