Hello,
I have a project developed with a PostgreSQL database, during all development in PowerBI Desktop the connection to the database worked fine. When publishing the file to the Powerbi Service and trying to connect to the gateway, the following error message appears:
The On-Premises Data Gateway is installed on one Windows machine and the database is on another Linux machine, both on the same network.
I already installed the version of NPG 4.0.10 on the machine where the gateway is installed and the error persists.
Can anyone help me to solve this problem?

If there is a working ODBC connection on the gateway server, can you create this connection (=dsn) under Power BI Service Gateway connections?
You will get a feedback from the service if the connection does not work for Service, while establishing.
That´s the way I do these tasks.
