Hello, i got some dummy data in my Datamart and i created a new query. How can I save this query so i can use this in new datamarts, powerbi reports, ...
Now i only can use the "Tables" in reports, and not the "Queries".
How do you switch to SQL when having a visual query?
But this is not what I want. I would like to write the result of my visual query (up to 100 steps for example) to a table which others can use in a report, or as a start in PowerBI Datamart without retyping/reusing the full SQL query for 100 steps.
@FilipVDR did you ever manage to do this? I am trying to write the results of a SQL query within a Datamart to a table that others can use in a dashboard - do you know if that's possible? I know it's not exactly what you asked. Thanks
What i asked here was announced in this update:
https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-datamart-january-2023-feature-summary/
It was announced in that January blog and mentioned that we should look for it in the February release. It's August now, and I still don't see this functionality in the Power BI Service.
Am I just missing it or does anyone happen to have more information about this feature?
Thanks a lot for this it's appreciated.
Hi @FilipVDR
You can use the query with a SQL Server source in Power BI desktop to be able get the same data?
