Hi,
What kind of editing options are available with the Power BI add-in in PowerPoint?
I fail to discover any apart from resizing the visual and using a few filters. Is it possible to change backgroud colour, title, chart colour, etc. in PowerPoint?
Also, is it possible to remove the link to the Power BI report from the bottom left of a visual?
Thanks.
At least new data is reflected in the PowerPoint visuals. (like a new month, new category, etc) @lbendlin
That's right, data changes will show. But meta data changes won't.
Do you mean a new field or measure in a visual or new table in a report? @lbendlin
In my use case visual content rarely changes but data behind the visuals changes frequently.
any meta data change that could impact the rendering of the visuals that you exported to PowerPoint.
Unrelated to data changes (unless these result in measures breaking, like division by zero etc).
There are no editing options. It's even worse. What you get in PowerPoint is a snapshot of the meta data at the point in time when you embedded the visual. Any edits on the Power BI side will not reflect in PowerPoint, you will need to re-embed.
