[PowerBiWeb]Want to display this week kpi on dashboard

Hello.

I use PowerBi(web version).

I want to display this week kpi on dashboard,
and share dashboard with my colleague.

Unfortunately, I struggle with narrow down data range by date.

Using "report level filter (or page level filter)",
I can narrow down data by fixed value.

ex)narrow down data from 2016-04-01 00:00:00 to 2016-04-07 23:59:59

But in this case,
I need to change data range manually.

This work takes much time and is not realistic!

I want to narrow down data automatically.

You do not have much, if any control over the data model when in the Service only. For your case, you would have to use Desktop. The basic technique is that you would have a custom column with a formula of something like:

CurrentWeek = WEEKNUM(TODAY()) - WEEKNUM([Date])

You could then set your filter to only display CurrentWeek of 0. Your data might have to account for year but the general concept could be adjusted to account for that.

Mr.smoupre

Thank you for teaching !

I tried PowerBi Desktop version.
And using custom column and DAX function as you tell,
I can narrow down kpi value ^^

So, I close this topic.

When I encounter some troble,
I will revisit Power BI Forum m(_ _ )m
