PowerBi Service dataset - table brought in through SQL Analysis Service missing rows

Good day everyone! I am trying to put together a central dataset that would be pulled to multiple PBIX desktop reports, where it would be transformed (merged, filtered, etc.).

I have set up a Premium workspace where I published the dataset, which already appends 5 sources and performs significant transformations post-append. That part works fine - I can set up a daily refresh, and my downstream reports are faster to refresh as a result.

But I am running into an issue where the table is missing 1/3 of its rows when I pull it back to a PBIX file. I tried this in a new PBIX file, and the result is the same. If I export the dataset from PBI Service directly to CSV, all lines are there, so the data is completly in the service.

The full table includes a bit over 900,000 rows. The CSV export sits at about 220MB. I haven't been able to find a solution online, and I'm wondering if someone would have an idea as to the potential cause. Thank you!

Thanks. I ended up going through by process of elimination, removing columns until I had a full set of row synchronizing. In the end, the Measures I had created were causing some soft of issues with rows matching certain criteria (basically all the ones from two specific spreadsheets I was loading). Once I deleted the Measures, everything loaded.

I recreated the Measures within the report itself. An imperfect solution, but good enough for my application.

If you have a Pro license you can open a Pro ticket at https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/newsupportticket/powerbi - otherwise you can raise an issue at https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues .
