PowerBIDatasetsWorkspace in Azure Log Analytics

I'm working on a project to measure performance of reports in Power BI and I'm trying to use data from Log Analytics. I was wondering what the difference is between CpuTimeMs and DurationMs? And when would you use one over the other?

Hi @charlotteryan

As far as I can understand the CpuTimeMs is the amount of time the CPU was used for the query.

While the DurationMs is how long it took for the query to complete as there is not only the CPU component to the query but also the storage engine and formula engine which can add up to the duration it takes for the query to complete.

So does DurationMs include wait times for each query?
