PowerBI visual into PowerPoint with URL parameter

Hello,

You can filter a specific PowerBI report/visual with adding filters into the URL, but when I use this in the PowerPoint add in it does not filter anything.

This is the URL filtering

https://app.powerbi.com/groups/XXXX/reports/XXXX?ctid=XXXX&

filter=Company/Name%20eq%20%27400%20-%20STI%27

&pbi_source=storytelling_addin&visual=988adf6f458d48c05f2d&height=144.00&width=407.97&bookmarkGuid=00f5cd7b-0caf-40bb-a0c0-3678ac9f5606&fromEntryPoint=sharevisual

Does somebody knows how to fix this? Is it possible?

Hi @RH205 ,

If I understand correctly, the issue is that you want to add filters into the PowerPoint with url parameters. Please try the following methods and check if they can solve your problem:

1.Try to use the following url parameters.

Filter a report using query string parameters in the URL - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

2.You can also view the following links to learn the information.

URL parameters in paginated reports in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Pass a report parameter within a URL for a Power BI paginated report - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Add a live Power BI report page to PowerPoint - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
