PowerBI Sign-In Issue in Chrome

I've encountered a problem with signing in to PowerBI reports in Chrome, and I'd like to seek some assistance and insights from the PowerBI community. Here's the issue I'm facing:

Our reports are hosted on a static web app and contain embedded PowerBI reports. When opening these reports, we are required to sign in. Recently, when I attempt to sign in, the system redirects me back to the sign-in page without granting access to the report. I've noticed that I can successfully access the report only after refreshing the navigator tab on a second time. This issue appears to be specific to Chrome. This problem is also encountered when using Microsoft Edge, as it's based on Chromium.

We've already attempted to clear all cookies and caches in Google Chrome, but the issue continues to persist. It's worth noting that this problem may be related to Chrome's restrictions on third-party cookies in newer versions. When testing in Google Canary, the issue becomes even more pronounced, with an error message stating: "Cookie is blocked when sent in a cross-site context."

I'm concerned that as Chrome continues to evolve and restrict third-party cookies, this issue might become more widespread, affecting our ability to view PowerBI reports. My question to the community is whether there's a potential fix or workaround from the PowerBI side that could address this issue. It would be valuable to know if there are plans to mitigate this problem in future PowerBI releases, especially with Chrome's upcoming changes.

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help!

You cannot control what the service needs to operate, so I think the best course of action is to bring this up in the Issues forum. Issues - Microsoft Fabric Community

MS won't support Chrome Canary, but giving them that kind of info can help because what is Canary today might be release in a few months. Of course, Google could backtrack if other things break too.

Have you tried it with Edge? Giving MS the same results for Edge vs Chrome might help.

I ask then in the Issues forum. My concern is what will happen in future releases of Chrome.

And, in Edge, there appears to be the same error (I suppose because it is based on Chromium).

Thank you!
