PowerBI Service Error; Dataflows and Datasets Refreshing

Hi Guys,

On PowerBI Service, my dataflows and datasets are refreshing normally (when I actually create a connection to the dataflow all is working); However, when I try and access one of my reports that calls these datasets I'm getting the following error:

• Underlying ErrorPowerBI service client received error HTTP response. HttpStatus: 400. PowerBIErrorCode: QueryUserError
• QueryUserErrorunsignedInt

I don't think this is an authentication issue since the data in the dataflow seems to updating fine.

Any Ideas?

Thanks for your reply! We are using an on prem gateway and our dataflow and dataset is refreshing as usual and has access to the updated data.   The issue seems to be that the dataset cant connect to the powerbi service for some reason.  Strangely enough when I delete the measures, it connects to PowerBI service.  Any ideas as to why?  The measures themselves work and show data in PBI desktop but for some reason break the connection with PBI service

Hi @Ad550 ,

Can you refresh the report in your desktop? What type of source is it? Does it need a Gateway?

Maybe you need a gateway, On premises Gateway. Or use that personal Gateway installed in your Laptop. But if the source is not in your Laptop then you need a to install an On-Prem Gateway

If it still does not help, please provide the more details with the error.
