Power bi report builder duplicates in table wizard

Hi, im trying to create a invoice PDF report using power bi report builder but the issue we're having is duplicate address in each order number. I've managed to get the order number to be distinct but if there is more then 1 item per order the address, customer name and postcode also duplicates. How do i stop this from happening?

Please see the screenshot below.

Hi @Nathan99

You seem to be running into a common problem when dealing with grouped data, when multiple items per order results in duplicate customer information.

You can try the following to resolve the issue:

Use the Row Grouping Feature: In the table wizard, utilize the row grouping feature to group your data by the order number.

Then, place the customer name, address, and postcode fields in the group header section rather than in the detail section.

This way, these fields will only be displayed once per order, regardless of the number of items.

Adjust the Visibility Settings: For the fields that are duplicating (address, customer name, postcode), adjust their visibility settings so they only appear once per group (order number) instead of with each item.

This can be done by setting these fields to only display in the group header or by using an expression to hide them after the first instance.

You can view the link below for more details:
