I need to use a Python script for additional processing of my data before loading it into my PBI report. The two ways I am looking at doing this are:
1) Run a Python script in Power Query or
2) Create a Fabric Notebook that loads the processed data it into a Lakehouse and connect my report there.
I know that the first option will require a gateway in order to refresh the report online. But could someone please tell me any other pros/cons of each approach?
Thank you in advance.

Hi @cwoldorff
I would highly recommend using a fabric notebook. The reason for this is that there are limitations with regards to the libriaries that you can use within Power BI desktop, you'll see it a much better editing and viewing experience when using the fabric notebook.
