Power BI usage metrics has stopped updating

The report usage stopped updating around 7 days ago. When going into the Usage Metrics dataset settings, it says "Due to inactivity, your scheduled refresh has been disabled. We're starting it again now. Please come back later or manually refresh".

However, there was no inactivity (the report was viewed each day), and this message still appears. There are no issues with credentials. Any ideas how I can get the report to once again refresh? Thanks.

I have the same issue. Report is actively used (updated and visited) every day. The usage metrics broke. However if you deactivate the "new usage report" the numbers are there.

Thanks @lbendlin but i'm afraid I'm not a Microsoft 365 Administrator so cannot viewed the tenant logs. Thanks anyway.

There is no guarantee this will ever work reliably. Do not base your business processes on this "feature".  Use the Tenant Usage logs instead.
