Hi,
For a month now we have been running dashboard in service app with premium capacity and I have a power bi pro license. Its been publishing fine to service and we using flow to reftresh the dataset every 6 minutes from SQL and sharepoint excel file. Today i noticed if I publish and it refreshes charts disappear as if data is gone. Any idea what could wrong? desktop is fine it has the update if I refresh manually from desktop?
Hi, not sure if you already solved the problem, but here comes my experience today after not finding this case in any comments.
The source for my Power BI report is a SQL Server query that filters based on the login connected to the server.. When runnign on Power BI desktop, logged as myself, it worked perfectly, but then when running the scheduled refresh, the login in the data gateway is a different one, so for "him" the query returned a blank table.
Solution was to create a parallel query removing the filter or making sure the login used by the data gateway has all access needed to the query.
Hope this helps.
hi @Anonymous
Please check If you have set any filter in power bi service, and also please check if it has refresh successful in refresh history in the dataset setting and then refresh report and try it again.
