Hi Team,
Currently I have a premium worksapce which is kind of pay as you go, the cost is base on CPUs , as I know any user with Free license viewing the report will consume the CPUs.
My question is, how about the user with pro license? Will the CPUs be consumed for the users even they had paid for Pro license?

Hi @woshi_eads ,
The Pro license is a per-user license, Pro users have all the features of the Free license, the main difference is that sharing content on Power BI Service requires at least a Pro license.
Power BI Premium licenses are not for users, but provide dedicated capacity for all users in the organization. By default our workspaces are all on shared capacity. Dedicated capacity represents a set of resources (CPUs, Memory, Storage, etc.), when our workspace is set to premium capacity, we will use the resources of our premium capacity, if our workspace is not in premium capacity then we will Use shared capacity resources.
You can refer to the following documents: Features by license ; How capacities function
So whether to use the resources of the premium capacity does not depend on whether the user is a Pro user or not, but depends on whether the current workspace is in the premium capacity.
Best Regards,
Liu Yang

@Anonymous Perfect
Please be more specific. Are you talking about Premium Capacity or PPU (Premium per user) ?
