Hi All,
I have a requirement to connect SOAP API(WSDL) to Power BI. I have done a research and I understand that there is no direct connectivity yet and we can make use of the third party drivers https://zappysys.com/blog/call-soap-api-power-bi-read-xml-web-service-data/ to make use of.
Can someone please let me know if there are any other ways to connect to SOAP API's?
Thanks Poojitha
Hi @Anonymous ,
Have you tried to create XML file (poste.xml) for the SOAP web service as JasonL's post in this similar thread? You can use XML.Tables() function to load data from SOAP source to Power BI Desktop. Then publish it to service.
Hi,
I have used it , but somehow I do not get the table fields when I load the query.
This is how it looks. I expand the table, and I still do not find the columns in it.
Thanks
Poojitha
