Hi, there.
I am not able to refresh my table in PowerBI Service although it works fine in the Desktop version.
I have a table created in PowerBI Desktop that is not connected to any source. The data is generated from Power Query with the Name field hard coded and Value field being a random number:
= Table.InsertRows(Table.FromRecords({[ Name = "Ferrari", Value = Number.Random()], [Name = "Porsche", Value = Number.Random()]}), 1, {[ Name = "Bugatti", Value = Number.Random()]})
When I click on Refresh in Desktop, I get a different random number every time. In PBI Service, nothing happens...
Any idea?
Hi, GilbertQ.
I added a SQL database as a source. Now I multiply the random value with a value from the database, but that's still not working.
Desktop gets updated as expected but nothing happens online.
