Power BI Service Not respoding

Hi Team,

Power BI Service seems down in Ontario Canada. The reports are stuck at the loading screen. The dataflows cannot be refreshed and cannot publish any updated report. Please help. How can it be restored.

Is it an outage? Are the services down? Who can we connect with?

Hi @Accelerate ,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.

If Power BI Service is not loading (reports stuck, dataflows not refreshing, publishing failures), it could be due to several reasons:

Common causes include:

  • Microsoft service outage or regional issues affecting Power BI.
  • Azure infrastructure problems (since Power BI relies on Azure services).
  • Network or firewall issues blocking Power BI endpoints.
  • Authentication problems with Azure Active Directory (AAD).
  • Tenant resource limits (like memory or compute exhaustion).
  • Large or complex reports that take too long to load.
  • Ongoing service updates or platform maintenance by Microsoft.

What you can try:

  • Check the Microsoft Power BI Service Status page or the Microsoft 365 Admin Center for any active incidents.
Microsoft Fabric Support and Status | Microsoft Fabric
  • Test loading Power BI in a private/incognito browser window.
  • Try using a different network (e.g., mobile hotspot) to rule out local network issues.
  • Monitor Microsoft’s official communication channels for updates.

If the issue still persists, I’d recommend raising a support ticket with Microsoft. The support team can look into the backend and provide more in-depth assistance tailored to your environment.

Your post is not helpful.

You guys are amazing. There is an ongoing global service outage but the community support keeps posting meaningless guidence and did it resolve? to previous outage report threads. Can you please instead fix the outage.

I had just created another thread but I am having the same issue in Ontario. Cannot access, refresh, or publish any report on the workspace. Was working fine yesterday
