Power BI RLS - Adding Users to the Security

Hi All,

Once we define the roles in Power BI Desktop, we will publish it to service. As part of RLS we need to add all the users to the dataset.

Lets assume i have only one role, for that role i have defined all the access mappings in another table. Next i need to add all the users to the dataset in the service. If i have 200 users to add, adding all them one by one is going to be difficult. so can i create a DL(distribution list) and can i add that DL rather adding all emails.
with this configuration, Row Level Security is going to work as exepcted or do we to have any additional configurations?

Thanks..

Hi @powerbimaruser ,

Based on my research, you could achieve this feature currently, please refer to below link that:

You can add a member to the role by typing in the email address, or name, of the user, security group or distribution list you want to add. This member has to be within your organization. You cannot add Groups created within Power BI.
