Power BI Online auto refresh data - Python code RestAPI

Hello Power BI Community,

I'm struggling with an idea and wonder if I can find an answer here.

I'm using a python script to fetch a report from a recruitment platform using RestAPI, and it successfully generates a report and adds the data into Power BI Desktop, so I wonder if, when I publish the dashboard online, will it support auto refresh for my data?

Hi there. If you are writing your Python Script inside PowerBi then you will need a Personal Data Gateway in order to keep a VM running the python logic to refresh the Report published at Power Bi Service.

Keep in mind that you can get request from API using Power Bi Web Connector.
