Power BI Gateway setup with ODBC connectivity throwing error

Hi, 

I have successfully setup a PowerBI Gateway VM in onPremise environment and setup System DSN with ODBC connectivity to DB2. I have tested it and it is working fine when I connect PowerBI Desktop on the Gateway Machine and connect to the DB2 Datasource. 

Now when I use the same setting at gateway level I found this error:

It would appear that you cannot authenticate against your data source.

I would double check with the database owner that the user account is still working and active?

How to debug this issue because I am able to connect to the Db2 by Powerbi Desktop but when I try to connect from PowerBI Gateway it throws the error I pasted.

Hi there

Can you confirm from your Power BI Administrator that you can install and configure data sources in the Gateway?

Yes I can install the gateway and I have installed the Gateway and it is showing it online.

Can you have a look at the logs when you try and create the connection and see what the error is?

Also is the ODBC driver installed on the Gateway Server?

Yes ODBC driver is installed and Power BI  Desktop is connecting by using ODBC driver.

I would recommend having a look at the Gateway Logging and see what it causing the error..

There would be more details in the gateway logs.
