I am fairly new to PBI. I am running Pro, and have just installed local gateway. I have created some reports and published them. They appear as reports, together with semantic models with the same names, in the workspace. I can browse the data in the semantic models. When I click on Settings and the Storage there is a list of datasets, with the same names as the reports, but with the only option being to delete them.
I would like to refresh the data being used by my reports, without going through the process of replacing the local data, opening the report in PBI Desktop, refreshing, and then re-publishing. Can I reresh the data (either the dataset or semantic model) in Service?

@Walt1010 ,
You definitely can. Go to Dataset Settings and schedule your refreshes.
You can also connect live to the dataset (using DirectQuery connection mode) so that the report is updated automatically.
Hi Walt,
You need select the settings and schedule the refresh under refresh section

Thanks, this looks logical because it looks like it all relates to datasets, but where do I find this menu? It looks like one specifically for datasets but I cant seem to find it anywhere around PBI/Workspaces....
When you click on the three menu button of the semantic model, you will see settings and please select that. You will see this and navigate to the refresh section.
