Hi!
I have a dataset of mainly DirectQueries (Mixed model).
I noticed that once I pin a kpi tile and want to use it to trigger alerts, the tile doesn't refresh (although the dash does).
I read about clearing cache as a solution, however I don't have such option available.
Do you know how can I make the tiles refresh? My users expect to get a notification of changes within an hour.
(I have a Pro license)
Thx!
Hi @amitmendelsohn ,
The refresh of the tile has nothing to do with the alarm. When the data in the title reaches the set threshold, the alarm will be triggered.
According to the official information from Dashboard tiles:
In Power BI Service, tiles are the snapshot of your data, if original visualization used to create the tile changes, the tile doesn't change. After you republished the report, the change of report will not reflect to the dashboard tile.
You can check the workaround at the following link:
You can also check if the refresh failed in Setting - Dates - Refresh history, if it fails, please see what the details are.
