Hi Power Bi community,
One of my customers in a diffrent organisation wants to export my matrix to excel.
I understand that I need to give them the build permission, but when I go to Permissions I can only see the read, and reshare option.
Does anyone know how I add the build permission to people outside my organisation?

Hi @ThomasWeppler ,
If your customer has already have the build permission for the dataset, but still can't export data, may be the following reasons:
1. Exporting data to Excel requires a Power BI paid license, or for the dashboard or report to be shared using Premium capacity.
2. Power BI admins can disable the export of data feature in Admin portal.
3. In the report setting, there is an export data option, if it is set to None, the customer also can't export data.
4. If you have access to the dashboard or report but the data is classified as highly confidential, Power BI will not allow you to export the data.
5. Power BI custom visuals and R visuals aren't currently supported.

Here is another picture. The export -> Analyse in Excel buttom works for me, but not for my customers.
You need to go to the dataset, then click on Manage permissions
Then click on Add User and make sure it has the permissions as shown below
When I go to the data set all the users have all options seleceted including build.
But when I go to the report I cannot select this option.
