Pinned Dashboard item is not update with changes made by Report Slicers

I have pinned a report to the dashboard. However, if I select the report and change the slicer to report on a new months data then dashboard data is not updated. Thus the dashboard is going to be out of date as ot shows on old months data.

Hi @BridgetTompkin ,

Currently, The pinned visual displayed on dashboard won't be filtered by the slicer selection displayed on source report page. In Power BI service, you can only pin entire report page which contains slicer to your dashboard by selecting Pin Live Page in the top navigation bar. This way, you can use the slicer to filter the chart within the tile.

This is a good solution for slicing the values within the dashboard but this does not provide indiviual tiles of metrics. I would like to setup alerts for cards that can be changed by slicers at the report level. Is this possible at all?
