Performance Fact table (Pivot vs Unpivot)

Dear all,

my fact table is unpivoted for all value columns. I am calculating a lot with measures. I was wondering if that makes a positive or negative effect when you have more columns and less rows / less columns more rows.

Hi. It always depends on the scenario and amount of columns. I think you can read this amazing article about that from Chris Webb. It explains way better than what I can say about it.
