Parameter Passing using URL

Hi 

I am trying to run a dashboard using URL and passing a parameter. I want to restrict the report to not show any data if no parameter is passes in the URL. Is there any way to acheive this functionality?

This URL works as expected and returns the data only for the parameter passed but when I run the below link it retrieves everything.

https://app.powerbi.com/groups/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/reports/XXXXXXXXXXXX/ReportSection

Is there any way to restrict the data or not render the report when there is no parameter passesd in the URL?

Hi @Ramakanthsiddh 

Currently this is not possible because the URL filtering is where it will filter the data shown. If there is no filter it will show everything.

You might need to put in a filter which will not show anything
