Paginated report performance

I have a paginated report that uses a stored procedure to pull data. Running SP in the SSMS takes 4 sec. But when I run the report It takes 3 times longer to get it on the screen. Any idea where to look for the problem?

Thanks

Are you using a gateway? That can double the time it takes as the data has to move through the gateway. Also, the paginated report has to process the data into the report once it gets it. That can also take a while. This might help figure some of it out: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/paginated-reports/paginated-reports-diagnostics
