Paginated Report Removing Rows with Blank Balance

I have a paginated report that I have created in a workspace.  The data is a list of patients with and without outstanding balances.  When I created the report, I did not apply any filters for balance.  When I look at the filter option, there is an option for "Blank" and it is selected

However, when I unselect all other, I have no data.  When I check the source data, there are hundreds of rows where this value is blank, but there is data in the other columns.

Why is the paginated report not showing rows where this one value is blank?

    Hi aflintdepm ,

Regarding your question, I've assumed some data:

1.Power BI desktop automatically aggregates data of numeric type, in the figure the sum function is used, the function automatically ignores 'null' values.

    2.Please do the following:

    3.Final output

Anonymous Please forgive my misunderstanding.  Your example is showing a table visual in PBI Desktop, correct?  When I create a such a visual, I get the results I am looking for, with empty values where there is no known balance (highlighted example)

However, once I upload my report into a workspace, I want to build a paginated report with the same data.  This is where I am having the problem.  The paginated report deletes all rows where this value is empty, but I want to maintain the data as it appears in the visual.  This is the result when I filter the paginated for blank

If I don't sum the balances, then I'm not reporting the appropriate information, so I'n not sure how changing that setting will help.
