Paginated Export

I have a big paginated report which is more than 250MB when exported to CSV. 

is there away that I can export the on schedule? the subcription to sharepoint and onedrive is limited to 250MB.

Exporting large, paginated reports to CSV on a schedule can be challenging due to file size limitations. Here are some strategies you can consider:

• If possible, divide the report into smaller sections, each under 250MB. This allows you to export each section separately and combine them later if necessary.

• You can create and modify paginated report definition (.rdl) files in Power BI Report Builder. Once the report is configured, you can schedule it to run at specific times and export the results to a CSV file. For more information, refer to the official Microsoft documentation link below.

To export large paginated reports over 250MB on a schedule, use Power BI REST API or Power Automate:

Option 1: Power BI REST API

1. Use the Export-To-File API for Paginated Reports. API: POST https://api.powerbi.com/v1.0/myorg/reports/{reportId}/ExportTo Save the export to an external storage location (e.g., Azure Blob Storage).

Option 2: Power Automate

1. Create a flow to export the paginated report using the Power BI Export to File action.
2. Save the file to a location like SharePoint or OneDrive.

Workaround: Split the report into smaller sections using filters or parameters to reduce the file size.
