Hi everyone,
I am getting the following error in one of the reports that I have published into Power BI Service; I am getting this error whenever the dataset is refreshed, either as part of a schedule or manual, on demand refresh.
Cannot connect to the mashup data source. See error details for more information.

Oddly though, this dataset/report was being refreshed until 2 weeks ago, with the error started to appear since 24/2 morning. There hasn't been any changes to the report, so I am not sure what went wrong all of a sudden.
Thanks
Kaz
@Anonymous
Firstly, please update your gateway into latest version.
If it still throws same error, please download a .pbix copy, and go to Query Editor to check generated Power Query. As the error message indicated, try to pass only one argument in "Table.FromRecords" function.
Regards,
I downloaded a copy of the PBIX, and did a refresh. It refreshed all the data without any errors. I went and triggered a manual refresh in the Service, and expectedly, failed with the same error "
2 arguments were passed to a function which expects 1. |
I haven't upgraded my Data gateway, yet. Will be doing later today.
Thanks
Kaz
We are upgrading to the new data gateway tomorrow and I am hoping that it resolves our issues with data refresh. Nevertheless I am going to download the PBIX from the Clou dand see where is it having trouble. Interestingly though, the original PBIX refreshes without any errors on Desktop.
Thanks
Kaz
