Hi!
I have big report (200mb) and can't remove anything from a model (If I need to calculate something i used measures).
From today i get the memory error (ODBC: ERROR [HY001] Out of memory while reading tuples.; memory allocation error???) when trying to refresh the report on power bi service.
Do somebody know how I can solve it?
Do it possible to increase memory on power bi servise?
Could it help if I change source from ODBC driver to DB Postgresql?

Hi, @ilyabokof
For big data models, optimization is very important. Secondly, it is also important to choose the appropriate connection mode and allocate the refresh and usage time between reports reasonably. If you use premium capacity, you can configure the workload according to different needs, increase the query memory limit, or purchase a larger capacity license, which can also be considered.

Now i have the same problem with other reports. One of them is 10 mb size.
Seems like something wrong with ram of power bi servise. Do you know what else i can try to do?
I tryed to use premium account, problem was the same, it didn't help
Hi, @ilyabokof
Have you tried the suggestions and information I posted before? Can you share the screenshot of the error displayed in the refresh history? When you refresh a large report, are there still a large number of reports running at the same time in the tenant?
Thank you for your help! just one thing can help is to make report less. If a report more then 100 mb prolem will start soon :))
It doesn't possible to increase memory on power bi servise, right?

Hi, @ilyabokof
Make sure that when you refresh the report, there are not many other refresh processes in the tenant, otherwise it may cause insufficient memory allocation and refresh failure. If there is a premium license in the organization, you can put the report in the premium capacity, and the performance of running and refreshing the report will be improved because the query memory increases.

You may still need to control the size of the model, delete unnecessary columns, and use measure instead of column as much as possible.
If you still have problems, please feel free to ask me.
