Hi,
First time using Oracle database as source.
I was successfully able to connect database, but coudn't setup gateway for my datasource.
What can be reason for this error, what can i do to resolve this.
Thank you.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Finally, i have managed to find the solution.
The reason behind the error is gateway is not configured with required Oracle database. So, now they have configured it. I could able to add it to Gateway.
The error message was regarding Oracle client. That was nor correct. So if someone is having same error look into the configuration of Gateway within Organisation.
Thank you for all the help.

I have gone through this, but didn't work.
I am trying to add Oracle datasource to Gateway installed within organisation. They have installed Oracle client on Gateway.
In Power BI Desktop, i have installed Oracle client latest version in my remote desktop and i was able to connect to datasource.
What are the mandatory steps to do while installing Oracle client?
Couldn,t understand where exactly the error is occuring.
