Hello everyone, I want to know how could I make an option for my users to export the data from the visuals from the Report on the web platform.
I've added the report to my website through the Publish to web ( public).
Note:- Users are outside my organisation

hi @Divyanshu15
Unfortunately, the "Publish to Web" feature in Power BI does not support exporting data from visuals for users outside your organization. This feature is designed for public viewing only, without authentication or permissions, which limits interactive functionalities like data export

Hi. There is not way to make a user export data inside a publish to web report. It's protected to prevent that. Because it's a public insecure link, microsoft has decided to remove that possibility. B2B for organizations mean you can share reports with them at the Power Bi Service or Fabric ecosystem. It means you and the other users need a Power Bi Pro account to build or read.
As an alternative. If you want them to export data in your custom web, then build the functionallity with pure code. You could use Power Automate premium features like "When http request is received" for exporting data, or execute a query to the power bi dataset (using power bi rest api) and the result exported as csv. Both will required strong coding skills.
I hope that helps,

Hello @ribisht17
Thank you for your reply!
I want to show that only to some of our known end customers. Do I've an option to add their email as a guest, but the method will be the same as "Publish to Web"?
I checked, there is a way to add a B2B user as a guest or with an organization email, but I'm not confirm does that will be supported in the Publish to web method. The resource I go through is below in the Attachment

Thanks
