Operation returned an invalid status code 'Unauthorized - admin operation

Hi All,

There are alot of topics regarding this issue - but they are all developer issues as I notice, mine is more simpler.

As a PowerBI admin - can't add myself as admin to "personalworkspace" or a "group" - as I know these are classic workspaces.

Issue is not present in "modern" workspaces there I can do anything I want.

Is there some limitation why admin is unathorized to get reports or manage access on personal workspaces / groups?

What you mean "personalworkspace"?

If you are you talking about adding admin to Classic workspace, you may take a look at this blog.

Thank you for your response,  but issue is not that simple unfortunately 😞

There are 3 types of "ws" as per screenshot.

Workspace is "modern" ws and permissions can be managed here freely.

In group and personal group which are classic ws which already exist there is no option to manage access

neither through GUI or powerhell.

Only issue I am getting is "unauthorized" when I am trying to add admin or pull out report from both "classic" types. As I am aware they are single user created, long way before "modern" ws were added as funcionality, is this maybe for MS support?
