Hi All,
I have deployed 2 reports in Power BI Service.
Report 1 and Report 2
In Report 1 i have put a button and given the functionality to go to another report by using the option Web URL and it is opening in other browser tab
After going through report 2 when i click on back button again which i kept in main page of report 2 it is again opening report 1 in a new browser tab.
For me the issue is all the above process must be done in a single browser tab. (I am using Microsoft edge as my browser)
Anyone can help on this.
There is no permanent solution for such issue, please vote it in this idea: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/10327392-allow-hyperlinks-in-text... .
However, there is a temporary solution for you in order to open the hyperlink in the same tab as the report. Right click hyperlink and then select “Inspect element”, you will see the code for the hyperlink which likes this :
<a href="https://msit.powerbi.com/groups/me/dashboards/5db599e5-bb56-407c-9c48-db81f2fe637d" target="_blank">Dashboard</a>
Change the code to <a href="https://msit.powerbi.com/groups/me/dashboards/5db599e5-bb56-407c-9c48-db81f2fe637d">Dashboard</a>, then you can open the dashboard in the same tab as the report.
