On-premises data gateway Sign-In issue

While signing in to the on-premises data gateway, we get the below error

Network request returned unexpected error.
An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.EndReceive(IAsyncResult asyncResult)
at System.Net.Sockets.NetworkStream.EndRead(IAsyncResult asyncResult)

Can you please elaorate in details how did you solve your firewall issue?

On-premises data gateway installed correct;y. However, when we sign in we get the below error

Hi there

Are you able to connect to the internet from the PC where you have got the Gateway installed?

Also do you have the latest version installed?

Thank you for getting back Gilbert!

Yes, we did have internet access. However, some of the PowerBI URLs were being blocked by the firewall. That resolved the issue we were running into.
