On-Premises Data Gateway is not connecting to local ms sql server express

When I'm adding new data source I get following error:

I've scanned through every possible answer related to DMTS_UpdateClusterDatasourceCredentialsErrorCode error but None of them solved my issue.

When I test the Gateway ports I see success test runs with 443 status: Open;

What can be the root cause and how to establish a connection with an on-premise SQL Server via web PBI.

Hi @v-kkf-msft , thanks for reply.

It takes less them minute to fail the validation.

Also, I can refresh the data on my desktop pbi. The problem is to refresh the data in the web version.

How long does it last and then fail? Is your personal gateway able to connect to the data source properly?

As per error message the issue is with crdentails, to validate this try to refresh the PBIX on your local Desktop and see if it fails.
