On Prem DataGateway connection to On-Prem SQL server and Occive 365 sharepoint site in same report.

I have a report that pulls data from multiple sources. I have PB Pro and have an on prem Gateway with Power BI Pro pulling data from and On Prem  SQL server. (MS Project 2013).  That gateway worked until I recently added some data to my report that pulls from an Office 365 Sharepoint site (Corporate with the same credentials available for both)

However when I try to add the SharePoint site as a data source I get an authentication error. Everything works great in desktop but when I publish I get the issue. Note I am the owner of the Sahrepoint site on Offcie 365

Is it possible to have multiple data sources like this in one report? And if so how?

Thanks

@bleake This is a current limitation in the gateways. You can't mix cloud and on-premises in the same dataset. Looks like the idea here has been replied to and the team is currently working on it.

Hi @bleake,

On-premise data gateway doesn't support SharePoint data source. As the dataset contains both SQL Server and SharePoint data, you an use personal gateway to workaround the issue.

Thank you. Not the answer I was hoping for but will look to future releases.
