If anyone has faced this blocker, can you explain me what would the cause be for not being able to fetch the branches from the repository even though the the repo isn't empty (it has branches and code) and i have give all permissions to the repo connection in the Personal Access Token in GitHub and the account has a Premium Per User license.

There are some limitations while working with Git Integration in Power BI.
Currently it only support Git in Azure repos
