New requirement for an app referencing multiple models

Over the past few years I have built multiple semantic models in their own workspaces and distributed these via apps.
Let's say I've got 3 semantic models - A, B & C.

A request has now come in for a new reporting dashboard/app (D) that requires showing reports from A,B & C in D.
D itself has some new requirements which are being created within a new PBIX file which will be published to a workspace/app, however there is some security requirements now.

All the data will need to be restricted via RLS at Country level. The problem I have is I'm not sure what's the best approach here in regards to A,B, & C.

Currently only A has RLS in its report, the other two reports do not but we need to introduce Country Level security.
I'm at a bit of a loss as to how to manage this? Do I need to create copies of A,B,& C and maintain the copies with RLS? My concern with this is its duplicating effort but I can't think of another way around this. Furthermore, I can copy A,B,& C but some of these reports have been built by a 3rd party so if there are any changes to these reports I presume I'd need to overwrite the pbix file and publish it all again, would I not lose the RLS?

Hoping somebody tells me there is an easy solution here!

Hi @nh27 ,

There doesn't seem to be an easier way. RLS is based on semantic model and a report corresponds to a semantic model, so you need to back them up before you finish.

Hope it helps!
