Need to know limit for dataset size refresh for A1 to A6 capacity SKU's

Hello Everyone,

I would like to know what's the maximum dataset size that we can refresh on MSIT for premium subscription in Power BI service. 

What is the dataset size limit for A1? A2? A3? A4? A5? A6? sku's.

Hi @Adithya_S

The following table shows the recommended SKUs for uploading or publishing a .pbix file to the Power BI service:

SKU	Size of .pbix
P1/A4	Up to 3 GB
P2/A5	Up to 6 GB
P3/A6, P4/A7 and P5/A8	Up to 10 GB

Thank you and we are aware of this document, but it is not clear that what is the limit for a indivisual dataset size allowed in these sku's. I hope I'm clear with my question.

Please refer the condition for memory limit in above link I shared,

³ The Max memory per dataset (GB) column represents an upper bound for the dataset size. However, an amount of memory must be reserved for operations such as refreshes and queries on the dataset. The maximum dataset size permitted on a capacity may be smaller than the numbers in this column.

As per conversaion with Power BI Product team, the standard dataset size limit is half of the memory, but it is not hard stop, means if your dataset grown more than half of your memory limit it will still work and get refreshed but your capacity perforamnce will degraded.
