Monitor and optimize on-premises data gateway performance - Microsoft createdpbix has missing fields

I am following this article - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/data-integration/gateway/service-gateway-performance

and setting up the OnPremisesDataGatewayLogs.pbit

Referring to previous answer –

Solved: Re: Monitor and optimize on-premises data gateway ... - Microsoft Fabric Community

When I refresh and look at the visuals, it has various broken ones using these values -

  • Dataflow Id
  • Host Context Type

Any advise?

I am also running into awful refresh times and failures - these seem to spring from Query

I'm afraid I'm not an expert PowerBI dev, (I'm a database/Bi Developer) so to check - is there a working version of this file that anyone is using? Or is it obsolete? I can see Rui Romano has a PBI monitoring solution but that is a couple of years old.

Hi @stty1244

There are often changes that happen within the power BI Service as well as the on premise data gateway monitoring, so it could well be that these fields are missing. But if you have a look in the underlying source query, hopefully you can remap those fields.
