I have a standard workspace that doesnt have much data in it.
The dataflows are running incredibly slowly and I dont have any way to figure out why?
could this be anything to do with our premium workspaces? Is there anyway for me to check and get more of an understanding as to why these are running incredibly slowly?

Hi @DebbieE ,
Some data sources are working very slow. Sometimes it is the problem with the data source engine. sometimes, it might be the connector issue, sometimes it might be a limitation on the data source (such as the number of API calls in a time period). All of these situations cause the refresh of the Power BI report to become really slow because it has to wait for the data source’s response.
If you are using a dataflow with on-premises data sources, we can enable the additional log to gather additional log information of Enterprises data gateway. Then we can know the slow-performing queries while refresh, please refer to this document about the additional log: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/data-integration/gateway/service-gateway-performance#slow-performin...

no, its not data collected via the Gateway. Its in the Cloud. I just need to have something to enable me to check and diagnose dataflows in a standard workspace. Or I wish Microsoft would specificy that dataflows should be premium only.
